Due to his distinguished career in Political Management, Campaigns & Elections magazine has considered Aleix Sanmartin one of the most influential people in the world of political strategy, communication and marketing in Latin America; and because of that, he’s been invited to form part of the Latino Reed Awards Professional Academy.

Named after the magazine’s founder, Stanley, Foster Reed, the Reed awards recognize year after year the best consultants and their work in political campaigns in the United States. Because of its origin, this award limits the possibility of fully recognizing the work done in campaigns outside of the United States. This is why, this year, the Latin version of this award has been created, to recognize the best work in the political consulting and marketing world in Latin America.

  • The awards are recognized internationally as the Oscars of political consulting and are given out annually by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC), who celebrated its 21st edition.
  • By second year in a row, Sanmartin Group was the most awarded Spanish-speaking company at the ceremony. In 2011, the political consulting company won six Pollie Awards for their work in several electoral and public affairs campaigns.
  • In February of 2012, Sanmartin Group was also awarded the Reed Award, given by Campaign & Elections magazine, for Best International TV Ad.
  • Spanish consultant, Aleix Sanmartin (20 Pollie Awards; 1 Reed Award and a Rising Star) becomes the most awarded Spanish political consultant in the United States.

Sanmartin Group has become the most awarded Political Consulting and Public Affairs company in the history of the United States. At the annual Pollie Award ceremony, organized by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC), Sanmartin Group won 14 Pollie Awards. The consulting company won 46% of the awards in international categories, at the 21st ceremony.

Campaigns & Elections announced today that Sanmartin Group, a political communications and public affairs spanish company, has been awarded the 2012 Reed Award for excellence in the category of International Political Campaign of 2011.

The Reed Award has been granted for Alejandro Encinas’ electoral campaign, candidate for the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) for the government of the State of Mexico.

This new award joins the series of accomplishments of the Sanmartin Group company in the United States. Last year they were awarded with the Rising Star and 6 Pollie Awards, given by the American Association of Political Consultants, considered the “Oscars” of Political Communications.
